Please Join IIDA Toledo for: Demystifying Resins: An Architect’s Guide to Designing with Resins, CEU Presented by 3Form. Lunch will be provided.
What: This CEU provides designers with important background and details on selecting the right translucent polymer materials for architectural design projects.
When: Thursday, February 22nd
Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Where: NBS (2nd Floor)
Parking: Available on street and public lots.
Learning Objectives: The program is designed to provide a fundamental knowledge on translucent material alternatives that are available and used in today’s architectural designs. The program illustrates how translucent thermoplastic polymers can be used as aesthetic alternatives to more traditional materials. Further, the program reviews how polymers are being utilized to remedy key design issues of today: daylighting, reusable materials, energy efficiency and project economics. A review of design polymer considerations covers various technical aspects that are important to achieve successful designs with translucent resin materials.
This program is eligible for IDCEC, AIA and USGBC Credits. Seating is Limited so please register early to reserve your spot!
