DESIGNER
Professional
If you are an Interior Designer and have passed the NCIDQ exam, you qualify as a Professional Member.
Associate
If you are an Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years formal Interior Design education, and are not NCIDQ-certified, you qualify as an Associate Member.
Affiliate
If you are actively engaged in a field other than Interior Design such as landscape architecture, lighting design, or architectural photography, you can join the Association as an Affiliate.
ARCHITECT
Professional
If you are an Architect actively engaged in the profession of Interior Design, you qualify as a Professional Member.
STUDENT
General Student
You've made one of your first great career moves. Join the IIDA community of professionals and expand your network.
EDUCATOR
General Educator
If you are a full-time educator or a department chair, we invite you to join us as a Professional or an Associate Member at reduced membership rates.
Int'l Design School
IIDA created the International Design School Membership as a pilot program to support the exchange of information within the global design community.
INTERNATIONAL
International At-Large
If you an active Interior Designer located outside of an area covered by an IIDA chapter, you can apply as an International At-Large Member.
International Dual
If you are already an active Member with one of the Associations listed below, and are located outside the US, you can qualify as an International Dual Member.

INDUSTRY REPS
Manufacturers & Dealers
Companies joining as an Industry Member are allowed 3 to 30 Industry Reps as part of their membership, giving you further access to different Chapters around the world.
IIDA APPELATION
If you are a member in good standing, you can use the IIDA acronym after your name. Using your IIDA designation shows your clients, employers and peers that you are deeply committed to your profession. It demonstrates to a prospective employer that you have the qualifications that give you an edge.
