All-In Advocacy was an inaugural event for the IIDA Cincinnati/Dayton City Center in 2021, and we were thrilled to bring it back for a second installment in 2022! Check out the recap of our 2021 event here.
While our 2021 topic lineup focused on grassroots advocacy efforts in our community, our 2022 topics focused on the past, present, and future of sustainable practices in our industry. Similar to a TEDTalk series, our committee put together an amazing lineup of speakers that covered historic preservation and adaptable reuse, an overview of sustainable credentials in the built environment, and future standards & credentials being published in the FF&E sector. The event took place over a plated lunch at University Club of Cincinnati, where over 40 attendees joined for an afternoon of networking and thought-provoking lectures. Here is our lineup of speakers:
Kevin Gilbert, Senior Project Manager at HGC Construction
Yasha Ogg, Building Performance Analyst, Speaker & Advocate for Healthy, Sustainable, and Resilient Buildings
Ashley Blevins, Director of Sales at GMi Companies
Moderated by Tamra Fuscaldo, Director at MA Design
Feel free to reach out to iida.cindaydirector@gmail.com if you're interested in learning more about our speakers.
We cannot thank our attendees, sponsors, and benefactors enough for their support! We are looking forward to hosting this event for our members again in a few years, and would love to hear any feedback or suggestions. Please send any additional thoughts to iida.cindayadvocacy@gmail.com and we will make sure to carry them with us in to the future!
